Aku Aku Menu with Original Handwritten Recipes!! Free Shipping!!

This is a reprint of an original vintage menu from the legendary Aku Aku at the Stardust Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. But this is no ordinary menu. This menu was signed and given to a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Boehm, from the Head Bartender at the time Angelo Kagawan. Inside this menu, Mr. Kagawan hand wrote the recipes for all 24 of the menus illustrated drinks!!!

The original Aku Aku cocktail program was developed by the one and only Don the Beachcomber, so odds are that these are recipes developed by the man himself.

Included amongst the recipes are ingredients like passionola, Caricoa Rum and green syrup. Based on the mug illustrations and drink prices, this is the first iteration of this style menu at the Aku Aku. This is truly a special piece of tiki and cocktail history.

I wanted this reproduction to be as close to the original as possible. The same card stock, staples and even the stains were left just as they were. The front cover of the original had the Boehm's name slightly trimmed off, so I kept that in place also. I really wanted this to look just like the original as it remains today. The size is slightly smaller than the original measuring in at 12" tall and 6 1/2" wide when closed. On the back page I've placed my Tiki Classics logo alongside a moai logo used at the Aku Aku that was painted by my friend Buddy Holiday from Downtown Tattoo in Las Vegas.
